Amine Loutia is a PhD student at PRISM, Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University. He holds a diploma in Information Systems for Financial Markets from Telecom Management School. He also holds a diploma in Market Finance from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University.

His research is done under The Laboratory of Excellence for Financial Regulation (Labex Réfi) and in collaboration with the Energy Management Centre (EMC) at ESCP Europe Business School. His thesis ("Commodities: Pricing and Portfolio Management") is focused on commodities and uses various methods mainly econometrics. He is currently working on a paper entitled "Do OPEC announcements influence oil prices?". It investigates the impact of OPEC decisions on oil prices.
